Meet the Team Making Magic Happen

Art Director

The art director owns the visual standard for the project and defends it at every stage. They establish the art style early, stay involved through production, and make the calls that keep creative direction and technical requirements from pulling against each other. When a concept needs to translate into something buildable, they're the one making sure it does.

Senior Artists

Senior artists take on the work that requires the most experience and judgment. They handle complex assets, navigate tricky style decisions, and set the benchmark the rest of the team works toward. They also mentor junior and mid-level artists, which means the quality of the whole team's output stays higher across the board.

2D Artists

Our 2D artists handle environments, sprites, and UI/UX work. They think about how each element reads first, then how it's executed. The 2D art they produce is built for clarity and mood, designed to stay cohesive across different genres and hold up across screen sizes and platforms.

3D Artists

Our 3D artists build characters, props, and environments to spec. Styles vary project to project, and they adapt to whatever the game calls for. Scale, materials, surface detail. That stuff matters because it's the difference between an asset that passes a visual check and one that actually feels like it belongs in the game world.

Technical Artists

Technical artists sit between the creative team and production reality. They tune models, handle performance issues across platforms, and keep the art pipeline moving without the intended style getting compromised along the way. When visual quality and technical requirements are pulling in different directions, technical artists find the middle ground.

Animators

Movement, environmental animation, effects. Our animators make the game's assets feel like they have weight and personality rather than just running through motions. They stay tight with the technical artists throughout so what looks good in preview also holds up once it's running in engine.

Our Production Process

Art development without a clear process creates problems that compound fast. Miscommunication early becomes expensive rework later. Here's how we keep that from happening, from first brief to final delivery.

Research & Discovery

We start by getting specific about your project. Goals, audience, genre, technical requirements, and creative vision all shape what comes next. The more we understand upfront, the less gets revisited later. This stage ends with a clear picture of what we're building and why.

Concept Art Creation

Our artists develop sketches and 2D concept art explorations that establish the look and feel of characters, environments, and overall style. These aren't decorative. They're working documents that give the whole team a shared visual reference to build from and help catch misalignments before anything goes into production.

Production

This is where concepts become real assets. Our 2D and 3D artists build and refine the work while technical artists stay involved to make sure everything performs correctly in engine. The focus is on getting the details right without letting scope or timelines slip.

Review & Iteration

Art leads review completed assets against the original brief, gather feedback, and push revisions until the work is where it needs to be. We build checkpoints in with your team throughout this stage so nothing reaches final approval as a surprise.

Integration & Support

Assets go into the game engine, get tested for compatibility, and we handle whatever comes up. If adjustments are needed post-integration, we stay involved until it's right. For studios with ongoing work, that support carries into future projects.

Why Studios Partner with Innovecs

Availability isn't the hard part. Finding a partner who actually fits how your studio works, that's harder. We've spent years building a practice around the things studios care about when production gets real: communication, reliability, and not having to babysit the people you hired.

Years of Experience

We've shipped art production work across platforms, genres, and team sizes. A lot of it. That history means when something unusual comes up on your project, someone on our team has probably dealt with a version of it before. We get up to speed faster and ask better questions from day one.

Talented Team

Artists, senior specialists, technical experts. They work together on projects rather than operating as separate departments that hand work back and forth. That's not a small thing. It's what keeps the 2D and 3D art feeling like it belongs to the same game rather than coming from five different people with five different ideas about what the brief said.

Client-Centric Approach

Before anything gets made, we figure out how you work. Your workflows, your communication preferences, what good looks like for your team. Some studios want daily check-ins. Others want to see work at milestones and be left alone in between. We adjust. The goal is for your team to feel like they gained capacity, not acquired a vendor they now have to manage.

Flexible Engagement

Production demands change. You might need more hands during a heavy asset push and fewer once the major milestones are done. We scale with you rather than locking you into a fixed model from the start.

Proven Results

We've delivered across a wide range of art styles and genres, and our clients come back because the work holds up and working with us doesn't create problems for their internal teams. Schedules stay on track. Creative ambitions don't get quietly shelved to hit a deadline.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about how we work or what to expect when collaborating with our game art team? Here are some of the most common topics clients ask about before starting a project.

What is included in your game art services?

Our art outsourcing covers concept art, 2D and 3D art creation, UI/UX, animation, and VFX. That spans everything from early sketches that set the direction of the project through to finished assets ready for integration. We adapt to what each project actually needs rather than running a fixed scope across every engagement.

Can you match our existing art style?

Yes. We study your current assets, look at the tone and mood of the project, and build work that fits what you already have. Our game art production team has worked across a wide range of styles and genres, so matching an established look is something we do regularly. The goal is to extend your creative vision, not redirect it.

How do you ensure high quality assets?

Senior artists and the art director review all assets before anything goes to final approval. We look at detail, style fit, and technical performance. Regular checkpoints with your art production team keep everyone aligned before work gets too far down the wrong path.

Do you provide ongoing support for future projects?

Yes. A lot of clients keep us involved after the initial project wraps. It means their future releases stay consistent with what came before, and it cuts down the ramp-up time significantly. It also frees up their internal team to focus on other things.

What technologies do you use?

Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, 3D modeling software, Unity, and Unreal. Our game art production pipeline is built around tools that give us flexibility across project types, from stylized 2D work to complex 3D environments.

Can you work with our internal development team?

Yes. Our artists and technical specialists work inside existing pipelines all the time. We communicate openly, adjust to your preferred workflows, and try to create as little friction as possible. Art outsourcing works best when it feels like a natural extension of your team, not a separate workstream you have to manage.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope, asset count, and detail level. After reviewing your brief we give clear estimates for each production phase so you know what to expect before anything starts.
